Cleanings

Regular brushing isn’t enough to keep your teeth their healthiest─ regular cleanings are necessary, too!

Preventative Comprehensive Examinations

Sailer Family Dentistry has several quick and fairly inexpensive ways to catch minor problems that, if left unaddressed, may become painful and expensive to fix. <br>Periodontal screenings & Oral cancer screenings

X-rays

Since not all problems are visible on the tooth’s surface, we take X-rays, which are painless and indispensable in diagnosing tooth decay, gum disease, bone density, bone volume, and tumors.

Fluoride Treatments

Fluoride applied to the teeth will make them stronger and more resistant to decay; it may even reverse tiny cavities that are starting to form.

Sealants

Dental sealants fill the small grooves in back teeth to keep them from harboring bacteria, which prevents cavities and saves money on tooth repairs.

Emergency Services

A dental emergency may be the result of an accident or chronic disease — whatever is causing you undue pain, your teeth and/or the tissues of the mouth that surround them require proper care right away.

Childrens Dentistry

It’s recommended that children visit a dentist by their first birthday to help them learn proper oral hygiene techniques, check for cavities, and monitor them for developmental problems. Plus, starting early makes them less likely to be anxious about visiting the dentist!

Fillings

Fillings are used to seal a hole left in the tooth from a cavity and to stop the progression of decay. We use two types of filling material in our office: Traditional amalgam & Natural colored

Crowns and Bridges

A dental crown is a cap that is placed over a broken, decayed, or unsightly tooth, while a bridge is a custom made, natural-looking dental appliance that replaces a section of missing teeth.

Extractions

Sometimes a tooth must be removed in order to make room for other teeth or because it is damaged beyond salvaging. We can perform these extractions in our office.

Full and Partial Dentures

Dentures are a removable replacement for teeth and adjacent tissues. Made of acrylic resin, sometimes in combination with various metals, they can be made to replace some or all of a patient’s teeth.

Night Guards

Grinding your teeth while you sleep may cause damage to them and be the source of headaches and jaw pain. A customized night guard will make a world of difference.

Whitening and Bleaching

These procedures may restore your smile if you deal with teeth that are stained, dull, or discolored. They can reverse the effects of aging or food and tobacco stains on teeth.

Nitrous Oxide

Sometimes called “laughing gas,” nitrous oxide is safely and effectively used as a sedative agent. It is typically mixed with oxygen and inhaled by the patient through a small mask that fits over the nose to help them relax.

Root Canal Treatments

These specialized treatments address problems with the soft pulp (nerve) tissue inside the tooth. While historically considered painful, the procedure is typically no more uncomfortable than getting a filling.
